Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ILMA STEP, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not download or use the App.

2. Eligibility

The App is exclusively available to currently enrolled students and authorized staff of ILMA University. Access is granted using university-issued credentials. Graduation, suspension, or withdrawal from the university may result in access being revoked.

3. User Accounts

• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must not share your account access with any other person
• Report any unauthorized access to your account immediately to the IT Support Desk
• ILMA University reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate university policy or these Terms

4. Permitted Use

You may use the App solely for the following lawful purposes:

• Accessing your academic and financial records provided by ILMA University
• Submitting legitimate academic and administrative requests
• Communicating with university departments through official App channels
• Viewing, uploading, and managing documents required by the university

5. Prohibited Use

You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or hack the App
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the App or its backend
• Attempt to access another student's account or data
• Transmit false, misleading, or malicious data through the App
• Use the App for any commercial, non-university, or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or security features

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, functionality, code, and branding of ILMA STEP are the intellectual property of ILMA University. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App solely for its intended purpose. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or modified without prior written permission from ILMA University.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ILMA University makes no warranties regarding uptime, availability, accuracy of data displayed, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use of the App is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ILMA University shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if ILMA University has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

ILMA University reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or applicable university policies. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in Karachi, Pakistan.
